At least one bear a year makes the Boone & Crockett record book.  In the Fall we offer a 3 week period for bow hunters to hunt either {or both} bear and deer. No rifle hunting is allowed during this period.  Please call for details.  Following bow hunting, there are 4 weeks of rifle hunting for deer, during which the first 2 weeks also include bear hunting. John's Paradise, in it's 10th year of operation, has enjoyed another great spring bear hunt with hunters seeing lots of bear. We had 3 bear shot for every 4 hunters (75%). Our bear population appears to be as high as ever. While no very large bear were taken this spring, several big bear were seen, but were able to elude being shot. Maybe next year.....

We have now completed a very good fall hunt and it goes down in history as our best year ever, great for our 10th. anniversary.
